Education is a right and the key for better childhood and future for children and their communities. Children affected by HIV and AIDS, working children and children living in poverty are a priority for us as they are most likely not to have the opportunity to attend school due to the many social and economic problems faced by their families.
Adopting a multi-layered, rights based approach, SAHAS works towards a sustainable improvement in nutrition, healthcare and education status of children whose lives are impacted by poverty. The parents of such children are counseled for education of the child and financial support for fees, books, uniform and in some instances, nutrition is given to facilitate regular attendance in schools.
